New year, same guidelines. 📸
To keep my business running smoothly and to respect both my time and my clients’ I want to clearly outline how booking and communication work!
All business related communication must take place through this photography business page only. You MUST respond to the automated message when you first message me, if you don’t your inquiry is marked as read and I will not see it. I will no longer book sessions or respond to questions through my personal Facebook (Alexis Wells), personal phone number, or any personal accounts. Those messages are turned off and will not be seen. Business is business, personal is personal. Thank you for respecting this boundary. 🤍
BOOKING INFO & MESSENGER
Messenger is for booking appointments and not for price comparing. My full pricing guide (this post) is listed in the pinned posts at the top of my page and is always kept up to date and publicly visible. If you are comparing photographers or gathering quotes, please review the pinned pricing information!
Please allow 24–48 business hours for responses. Messages sent outside business hours, weekends, or holidays will be answered in the order received.

BOOKING & TURNAROUND TIME
If you need photos or albums by a specific date (birthdays, announcements, invitations, etc.), sessions should be booked at least 4–5 weeks in advance. My standard turnaround time for galleries can be up to 4 weeks during peak seasons. Currently the TAT is 2 week starting on January 5th, 2026.
If images are needed sooner, express editing is available for an additional $25.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION
A session is officially booked only after all the 40% retainer fee has been paid. The retainer is required within 48 hours of booking. If it is not received, the appointment is not standing and I will not be present at the session.

RETAINERS, CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS
Retainers are non-refundable, but may be transferred one time to a new session date within 60 days of the original payment, subject to my availability.
Cancellations made within 24 hours or less of the session will result in full forfeiture of the retainer, as I am unable to fill that time slot.
No call / no show appointments forfeit the session entirely, and I will no longer be able to continue doing business together. Respectful communication and mutual consideration of time is required.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, I have to leave the location. I’m very calculated in booking and always going from one appointment to the next!

EDITING & PHOTOSHOP POLICY
My editing style focuses on true to color, professional image correction, proper exposure, color balance, and any skin editing such as acne, scratches, and bruises is included.
Photoshop is not included in my standard workflow.
• Minor touch-ups may be requested within 48 hours of gallery delivery
• Any approved Photoshop or advanced retouching is billed separately
• Body reshaping or altering requests are not offered
After the 48-hour window, galleries are considered final.

WEATHER & PAYMENTS
For outdoor sessions, weather related decisions are made solely by the photographer to ensure safety, image quality, and the best overall experience.
Final balances are due the day prior to your session so we can confirm final details and avoid last minute cancellations. Accepted payment methods include: Cash, Apple Pay, or CashApp.

I occasionally run flash sales or limited-time promotions, which will always be announced publicly. Outside of those, this post reflects my standard policies and investment into creating lasting, meaningful images for your family.
