Quinn Calder Photography

Quinn Calder Photography I have been privileged to photograph families, engagements, graduation photo's, and weddings.

I love to photograph landscapes and bring home the beauty that I am privileged to see. My favorite moments as a photographer are when I can combine a beautiful landscape with beautiful people that I photograph.

Moon setting over Timpanogos this morning was amazing. It was setting with a soft haze in the background, just enough light bending to make things interesting. Such a pleasant surprise to wake up to.

The Salt Lake Temple is beginning to emerge again after years of inspired, careful renovation—and it’s powerful to witness. For a long time, it stood covered, under construction, out of view… but never out of purpose. And now, slowly, beautifully, it’s being revealed. Stronger. Reinforced. Prepared for the future.
It feels symbolic. Because we all have seasons like that—times when God is strengthening us, refining us, even when it feels like parts of our lives are hidden or under construction. But He’s not finished. And when the time is right… He reveals what He’s been building all along. The temple is back. And it stands as a quiet, steady reminder that the Lord is still working on us too. ❤️

I’ve been on many trips around the White Rim trail in Canyonlands National park… and I still can’t quite capture what it feels like out there. The light, the scale, the silence—it’s different every time. This time, I got to watch friends see it for the first time… and that might be my favorite way to experience Canyonlands now.
Some places don’t lose their magic. This is one of them

Spent the day down in Moab at Looking Glass Rock with my son. If you’ve ever been there, you know that massive sandstone arch creates the perfect natural playground. So naturally… we brought a rope. A little climbing, a little knot tying, and suddenly we had a rope swing hanging from the overhang with one of the best views in the desert.

Swing out… kick off the wall… and stick the landing with a solid sand bump.

Moab has a way of turning a simple day with your kid into an adventure you’ll never forget.

Grateful for time like this with my boy.

The trees stood still in coats of hoarfrost while the morning sun slowly worked its way through the fog. For a few quiet minutes, everything glowed. Winter doesn’t shout its beauty — it whispers it through light and frost.

Grateful for mornings like this. ❄️☀️.

February looks a little different this year…
No snow, no crunch under our boots, no frosty mornings.

So here are a few favorites from February’s past in beautiful Heber Valley. ❄️ Whether it’s snowy or sunny, I’m grateful to call this place home.

Do you miss the snow this year?
