All I can say is WOW!!! Steve and Maria had an epic vision for their elopement day. They were open on a location when we first met and I included Alaska into their custom location guide.

After discussing ideas, they chose Alaska. We began planning and landed on hiking out to one of the most epic alpine lakes along with a helicopter flight with Outbound Heli Adventures to some breathtaking glacier scenes.

The weather was in and out with rain but Steve and Maria stayed flexible and we completely changed our hiking time to start 9 hours earlier than planned.

This was perfect because we had the most stunning weather for the alpine lakes with moody skies and soft lighting. The blues were vibrant.

Their first look was so perfect and even though it was cold, Maria braved the weather as we ran around capturing tons of dream photos.

They were both so in awe of each other and the scenery around them.

Then the next day we hung out at the Airbnb for getting ready photos. They also cuddled up and read letters from family + friends to start their day. The details and heartfelt words put into the letter book was so special.

We ended their elopement in the most Alaskan way! We gave our pilot some ideas for landings, a glacial pool with an ice wall and a mountain overlooking the glaciers, and he delivered!

We had their ceremony on our first landing in front of the ice wall followed by photos around the glacial pools. Then our pilot hooked us up with a sick flyover before we left.

Steve and Maria braced each other tight while enjoying such a surreal moment together.

The final landing was wild and beautiful. Wildflowers covered the lust green mountain, the wind was whipping, and the views were unreal. Steve and Maria ran around the mountain top enjoying their final moments of their day as we captured photos and video.

They both couldn’t stop smiling the entire time as they soaked it all in! What an EPIC elopement in Alaska.

So pumped to be heading up to Alaska with Destination & Minnesota Wedding Videographer on Monday to capture Steve + Maria’s adventure elopement. We have a pretty epic hike planned along with a helicopter adventure to the Knik Glacier.

I can’t wait to capture their love story and see the spots we land at! It’s going to be so special!

Daniel + Alejandra eloped in the stunning Medicine Bow National Forest. This is the most stunning and quiet hidden gem.

The mountains are stunning and rugged. The wildlife is abundant. The beauty and adventure is endless.

They decided to camp out overnight near the location we planned to do their first look. What an amazing campsite with an incredible view to fall asleep and wake up to.

The morning started with the perfect sunrise lighting up the mountains. Wildflowers covered the valley floor with rocks spread out across the grass. A scene straight out of a fairy tale.

After their first look and exploring around for photos, we met up with their family and dogs for their ceremony. We hiked halfway back to meet them at the ceremony location.

Alejandra’s sister served as their officiant as they exchanged their vows and rings. There was no shortage of laughs and tears during the day.

They both are backpackers especially Alejandra. She completed the Appalachian Trail a couple years ago. So this was a dream come true getting married in the mountains.

Conor + Emily planned the most epic 2 day elopement in the Wind River Range + Grand Teton National Park. 🏔️

On the first day of their elopement we hiked 12.5 miles to Island Lake in the Wind River Range. It was epic!!! They backpacked to this location in years past and were so excited to return.

It was my first time seeing the lake in person and I was blown away! It’s so breathtaking. We got spoiled with amazing weather, the most scenic camping spots, and solitude.

After setting up camp, we ate dinner and started getting ready. They started off with a first look with the most stunning backdrop.

Then they sat down and shared their vows and letters with one another. It was so sweet and a special moment to capture.

We adventured around from there to a pond that had a great reflection of the mountains. The pond had the perfect rock trail for them to get to the middle of the pond. The adventure was so worth it!

We finished the night with blue hour photos overlooking the lake and capturing photos with their epic tent view.

It was such a special experience in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Delivered Alec + Krista’s epic Yosemite elopement gallery over the 4th of July and had to share more from their day.

We had a blast getting up at sunrise to explore Glacier Point. Later we met up with family at Cathedral Beach for their ceremony with the most stunning back drop. To end the day right we caught sunset and lantern photos at Taft Point.

Laughter, tears, adventure, and joy were found throughout all parts of the day on the most beautiful way. What a wonderful day with such an amazing couple.

Congrats again to you both!

Ross + Carly were in town to run in Grandma’s marathon from Oklahoma. They recently got engaged and saw my photos on the North Shore.

Carly said once she saw the photos from Palisade Head she knew she wanted her engagement photos there. After chatting we planned out Palisade Head for sunrise along with Black Beach.

Seeing their reactions to how epic Palisade Head is at sunrise was amazing! They were so stoked about their photos and experience exploring such beautiful places.

Just daydreaming of Iceland’s many epic landscapes! What an insane multi day elopement exploring so much beauty!

If you’re dreaming of eloping in Iceland just do it! It will blow you away (figuratively and possibly literally!!!). The winds can be crazy!

Alec + Krista had such a beautiful vision for their elopement day. They wanted to be surrounded by beautiful nature in Yosemite and share the experience with their closest family and friends.

Their day started at sunrise for their first look. Hannah and I picked Krista up at 4am and Alec drove separate so we could set them up for their special moment.

We got a stunning sunrise and no one else was around during their first look. After seeing each other, they exchanged crosses with each other as God is at the center of their marriage.

During sunrise we included the Bible into their photos along with their Bible verse 1 Corinthians 13:8. It opened up some amazing conversations where we got to share our faith with each other.

Later we met up with family for their ceremony at Cathedral Beach. El Capitan served as the backdrop for their ceremony and it couldn’t have been more beautiful.

Following the ceremony, everyone gathered for a picnic in the woods next to the ceremony site. Family and friends shared speeches about A + K to make it extra special.

After first dances, we headed off to Taft Point to catch sunset. As we were hiking people passing by kept saying they saw a bear ahead of us. Unfortunately as we hiked further we never seen the bear.

However we did get a stunning sunset overlooking the cliffs and valley. We had fun exploring around and climbing on some rocks. Krista’s veil looked incredible being backlit by the sun!

To end the evening we broke out the lanterns during blue hour and got creative. It was the perfect ending to their day.

Luma’s dress, the lighting, and the Top Gun vibes were such a moment in these photos. Hands down some of my favorites from their engagement session.

Minnesota’s North Shore never disappoints. I still have room for more engagement sessions or elopements in Minnesota for this summer and fall.

Mike + Luma’s engagement session on the North Shore was beyond incredible. Luma had never been to Palisade Head before and we had so much fun exploring the epic cliffs at sunrise.

The fun playful chemistry they have is so incredible. They are huge fans of Top Gun and Mike served time in the military on helicopters.

So it was only fitting that we had Top Gun inspiration into their shoot. The beach photos with the sun beaming off the water are some of my favorites that scream Top Gun.

The North Shore never ceases to amaze me with its beauty, and it’s even better when I get to capture an amazing experience for you.
