You have to find the perfect outfits for everyone, a photographer who fits your style, schedule a time that works for you and don’t forget the unruly weather that sometimes puts a damper on your plans. Then the morning of your session comes and your kids are being crazy yours shirts are wrinkled and you are thinking, “ Who’s idea was this again.” Don’t sweat it, this stuff happens. I have photogra

phed the squirmiest kids, fussy babies, large crazy families. I have been in a middle of a sessions where the weather has turned from sunny to rainy in a split second. I’m sorry to say perfect moments will not last your entire session, they may only last a split second its my job to be sure to capture them. At T.Merritt Photography every session I do is important to me. Its my goal to provide a personal, memorable, experience to every client while providing quality photos, and exceptional client care. When it comes to my equipment and your moments. My cameras are all professional grade equipment. I have multiple lenses, lighting accessories, storage options and professional editing software programs. With quality being very important to me I also work with multiple printing labs that will provide beautiful treasured mementos and keepsakes that can be proudly displayed in your home and passed down to future generations. But I don’t just stop at equipment I love looking for new props, outfits and other items that help enhance your sessions. So if you have an idea reach out to me together we can plan something great. People always ask what it's like shooting races at night. Well here you go boys and girls.

This photo is basically what I see through the viewfinder. Just a few lights if there are any around and a whole lot of guessing. Then somehow you're expected to nail focus, exposure, timing, and catch a dirt bike flying by at 40+ mph... all in one shot.

Night photography is equal parts skill, patience, luck, and me whispering, "Please be in focus." 😅
..and when your flash doesn't fire. Congratulations. You just took a beautiful photo of absolutely nothing. 🙃

Spent a wild weekend camping taking photos of the Northeast 24 hour challenge. A race where riders race their dirt bikes for 24 hours straight. Mother Nature was not very nice to us and we had some crazy weather ! But it was worth it !

What can I say about Danella and Cody's wedding? Honestly, I don't even know where to start.

These two are truly made for each other. The love they have for one another is undeniable, but what stood out just as much was the way they care so deeply for their family and friends. T

From their first look, private vows to the thoughtful gifts they gave their friends and family to the reception every detail reflected who they are as a couple. There were even a few moments that had me tearing up, and that's saying something considering I had just met them. Watching the way they looked at each other and the genuine emotion they shared made it impossible not to feel it too.

Danella and Cody, thank you for trusting me to capture one of the most important days of your lives. I wish you both a lifetime filled with the same love, laughter, and happiness that surrounded you on your wedding day. ❤️
