POV: It’s the 4th of July and you’re out on the lake in your new favorite bikini. Yes, bikini, because you no longer give af about what anyone else thinks. Which is weird, because last year you were in this same spot making sure to sit certain ways and wondering if you should’ve just left your t-shirt on. Oh, and remember the shorts? GONE. 🤪

Remember standing in front of the mirror right before that first date? The way you pulled at your clothes and wondered if you looked alright? The butterflies and nerves — really, why do we go out to EAT for most first dates when our stomachs are already upset from nerves. And then the excitement before you leave — the wonder of the unknown.

You may find yourself in this exact position right before your bo***ir session and it’s totally okay if you do — you’re not alone. The difference? You can trust me from the start. “I don’t really have a reason to book.”

The most COMMON reason for not booking I hear & probably the easiest one for me to answer tbh.

You’re breathing. You woke up this morning & you are alive.

But anyway let me tell you a story about early 20s Bri. Very generic, because I’m stubborn & I did this quite a few times before the lesson stuck 🤣

Early 20’s Bri liked to go buy the cutest, sexiest, prettiest clothing, lingerie, shoes, jewelry. Not a lot, remember she’s early 20s, but she’d go purchase these items & then go put them up in their new little spot. Maybe she’d try it all on first, but for the most part it was normally stuck in the back of the closet. And then, she waited for the PERFECT time to wear them.

& then she waited.

& waited.

& waited.

I’m sure you’ve already guessed it didn’t come 😂

Perfect moments don’t just happen. I’ve never found myself suddenly needing an evening gown. & the lingerie? Left a very disappointed husband who thought the perfect moment was 2 seconds after the receipt printed & it was in my hands 🤣

You don’t have to wait to start living. That perfect time was yesterday 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sure you can use bo***ir to celebrate a wedding, or a milestone birthday, or any other kind of “celebration” I guess. But what if we just celebrated you for existing?

This everyday to slaaayyyy has me SCREAMING!! 😍

If you've ever wondered where I find all these gorgeous women, HI ITS YOU. They're the women you pass in the grocery store, the ladies who do your taxes, the small business owners, the stay at home moms, the working moms, the high level career woman whose photos you will NEVER SEE (Yes this is an option-no one ever has to see these if you don't want it!).

Sam fits into a lot of those boxes if you'd like to get technical, but most importantly she is also resilient, and so loving, and fierce. She's been in my studio twice now & I have *LOVED* hearing her stories both times. She has a heart of absolute gold and her energy never once dropped no matter what kind of story she was telling me. And while none of those stories are mine to tell, it's exactly why I do this.

When you come into my studio, I'm holding space for you to explore who you are without the worlds input. What exactly happens when you quit caring about the labels and the outside thoughts. I am a listening ear and a hype woman for those who find me and need it.

So yes, I see you. Beyond the camera, beyond the images. If you've EVER been in my studio, I most definitely still remember exactly what has been shared with me, and it will go with me.
