Hi! I’m Amanda! Some of you know me from my newsroom days at The Enquirer, where I spent almost 20 years as a photojournalist. Somewhere in there I also started picking up portrait sessions on the side, just for fun, whenever I had a free weekend. Then kids happened, life got full, and portrait work quietly slid to the back burner.

For the last four years I’ve been building a podcast network, buried in scripts and audio editing instead of behind a camera. I love that work and I’m not walking away from it, but somewhere in all those hours with headphones on, I realized how much I missed the click of a shutter. I missed taking photos of people that they’ll look back on and cherish.

So I’ve been rearranging my schedule to make more room for photography again and I couldn’t be more excited. ❤️
