After 12 years, I’m stepping away from my photography business.
This isn’t goodbye forever, but for now it’s where I feel called. Photography has been such a gift, an outlet for creativity and a way to capture life’s sweetest moments. But it’s also so much more than the session itself, and the behind-the-scenes hours have come at a cost.
This past year, as I tested stepping back, God reassured me again and again that this is the path I need to take. My girls are only little once, and I don’t want to miss it.
I want to thank every single person who trusted me to capture your memories, I don’t take that lightly. It has been an honor and joy to preserve those fleeting moments, and I’ll treasure the relationships and stories I’ve gotten to be part of along the way.
I may still take on special sessions here and there, but my workload will look very different moving forward. This may not be goodbye, but for now, I’m walking away with peace in my heart and my eyes set on this sweet season of motherhood. 🤍
