My name is Kate and I'm a former school teacher in the greater Bangor area. Although I love working with children, I also love taking photos! My passion started with landscape and wildlife photography, but as I grew older and saw more of the world, I realized how people are at the heart of what matters in life. The sweetest little sister has entered a world already overflowing with love.

Getting to photograph one of my best friends as she welcomes her beautiful baby girl is something I’ll treasure forever. She is truly one of the most beautiful humans I know, inside and out.

With three proud big brothers ready to make her laugh, protect her, and show her the ropes—and a daddy already completely wrapped around her tiny finger—this little girl is surrounded by the very best kind of love.

She is so lucky to be yours, and I’m so lucky to love you both. These are the beautiful beginnings of a brand-new family chapter, and I can’t wait to watch it unfold.

These newborn days hold so many beautiful contrasts—the quiet snuggles, a proud big brother’s joyful energy, and two parents soaking in the wonder of it all. Some sessions are about more than beautiful photos—they're about preserving a story.

This beach maternity session was especially meaningful for Kari and Nicholas, at a place in a location woven into their family's story. As the tidal waters ebbed in and out, sweet Finn wandered the shoreline collecting seashells—and without even realizing it, she was collecting memories too.

One day, he'll be too big to carry, too busy to ask for one more cuddle, and those little hands that always reach for you will grow.
