If you ever get a chance to go to an official dark sky site you should absolutely go. Being able to walk outside at night and see the faint glow of Milky Way stretch all the way across the sky without any extra gear is a life changing experience. It makes you wonder how the world might be different if everyone was able to spend ten minutes every night watching the whole galaxy.
