From wedding day to family of five. 🥹🤍

I first photographed Marcus + Anna when they got married in August 2020, back when I was just beginning my photography journey with a local wedding agency.

Fast forward six years, and I got to photograph them again — this time chasing three little personalities through the woods, playing by the lake, getting sandy, laughing, and simply letting their family be them.

Because family photos don’t have to be perfectly posed to be worth framing. Sometimes the best memories are the ones that feel exactly like this season of life: a little wild, a little chaotic, and completely full of love. 🌿

What a gift to photograph a love story long enough to watch it grow. 🥹

Sometimes the location finds you. 🌿
Amanda + Dylan’s maternity session happened in early June, just as the wildflowers at County Grounds Park were beginning to bloom. We found this little pocket of violet flowers that somehow matched Amanda’s dress perfectly — and from there, everything just fell into place.
The soft summer light, the color, the simplicity of the landscape, and two people getting ready to welcome a whole new chapter together.
Nothing elaborate. Nothing overly styled. Just letting the season, the light, and their connection do what they do best.
A little reminder that some of the most beautiful photographs happen when you stop searching for perfect and simply pay attention to what’s already there. 💜

Floating with all these details. 🦪🩵✨

High Tide Styled Shoot was inspired by the romance of being by the water — soft movement, coastal textures, pearls, shells, and a little bit of nostalgia woven throughout the day.

And these details brought that vision to life so beautifully. The exclusively designed stationery by Cayla the Painter feels like little pieces of art on their own, from the oyster-inspired shapes to the soft watercolor textures. Paired with the beautifully unique, vintage-inspired rings & jewelry crafted by Cival, every layer felt intentional, collected and completely one of a kind.

Proof that the smallest details can carry so much of the story. 🌊

Every love story has its own journey. 🤍

For Susana + Tiago, that journey looked like growing up in Brazil, finding each other, falling in love, and getting married — and then, all of a sudden, receiving a job opportunity that would take them thousands of miles away from everything they knew.

A new country. A new language and culture to navigate. A new version of home to create together.

And somewhere along that journey, their story grew a little bigger. 🥹

Now they’ve prepared to welcome their first baby here in the United States — building a family far away from the place they once called home, while carrying so much of that home with them.

There’s something incredibly special about photographing stories like theirs. Maybe because, as a Brazilian who also built a life far away from home, I understand how many emotions can exist inside a new beginning.

You can miss where you came from while being grateful for where life is taking you. You can leave home and, little by little, create another one.

And sometimes, home becomes less about a place and more about the people you’re building your life with. 🇧🇷🤍
