One of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting to be a small part of such a big moment in someone’s life 🖤

Surprise proposals are so much more than just taking photos. There’s always a secret plan, lots of excitement, and a little bit of stress trying to keep everything a surprise until the very last second 😄

I genuinely love being the person who gets to help put it all together and capture one of the biggest moments of your lives.

Can we talk about how dogs ALWAYS make a session better 🐶

Every time a pup shows up to a shoot, the energy just shifts. Everyone relaxes, there’s more laughing, and somehow the best photos happen in those random in-between moments when the dog is doing literally anything.

If you’re thinking about including your dog in your photos (engagement, family, whatever) - yes, do it. I’ll build extra time in for them, and I promise it’s worth it.

(and yes, that’s my pup at the end because I just wanted to show him off 😅)

“What actually feels like us?”

Not what Instagram says your wedding should look like.

Just what feels honest, exciting, and meaningful to you two.

And honestly, that’s why I love elopements so much - they create space for couples to slow down, be present, and make the day truly their own 🤍
