🎉 MEET THE MAKER 🎉

As many of you are new followers since I last introduced myself, and we are already nearing the end of July, I figured now would be the perfect time to say “Hi!” once again. 😃

I’m Michael Burmesch (Mike is fine.) - the guy behind Mb Squared Photography! *waves frantically* I do that! And I’m a hugger. 🤗

Mb Squared Photography is a one man ran, LGBTQ+ owned, small business operated out of my back bedroom studio in Bay View (Milwaukee). All part-time, as I am a full-time graphic designer. I’m a MIAD alum with a BFA in Communication (Graphic) Design.

I am a self-taught photographer. All of my shots are taken with an iPhone, and sometimes the use of Moment lens attachments, an art form commonly referred to as iPhonography. I don’t plan out my photos. I merely shoot what I see when I see it, and then share it with you.

I print my work on silk cover stock through a local, family-run printer on the south-side of MKE. Of course, custom mediums can be requested too.

All of us grew up with fond memories of the Milwaukee Public Museum, myself included, and I’ve had the pleasure of capturing so many of its amazing and wonderful exhibits over the years with my phone. With this piece, I wanted to showcase what makes Milwaukee Public Museum unique, and preserve its legacy with a keepsake piece for all to enjoy for many years to come. 💕

Prints of “Milwaukee Public Museum” is NOW available in 12.5” and 8” square sizes TODAY at the Milwaukee Makers Market Festival at Discovery World (July 19, till 4pm). Both sizes are easy to frame with off the shelf frames from Michael’s, IKEA, and Meijer. 🖼️
