When I was itty bitty we went to a lot of parades in Milwaukee, and they all had the Dancing Grannies. I grew up watching them dance in the streets, and today I got to sit with a few of them and they told me their stories.

This past week was something else. I did something I don't normally do, I shot a wedding. Now don't get me wrong I've shot weddings before, but I try not to. Something I keep having to remind myself is Pushing yourself to do something out of your comfort zone only builds you up more.

Plus I made some awesome new friends in Miamor Rae Wolfe and Djkeepittoreal Wolfe who I never would have met if I didn't put myself out there.

I had an absolute blast shooting this wedding and I'm so excited to get more of these images out, but for now take a look at what we created together.

I don't take weddings. Maybe one a year at most, and the couple has to be people I can enjoy a drink with, they have to have that vibe. I took a chance on DJ and Mia and I'm so glad I did. We met up for a few photos this weekend and I can tell you for sure, these are my people.

Waukesha you have a new mural!

Do yourselves a favor and go see Little Fox the next time you find yourself in downtown Waukesha. From the paws on the ground coming out of the river to the tip of its nose that peeks put from the alley as you walk down main street it's pretty damn adorable!
