I first had the honor of photographing this beautiful couple’s proposal, then their first precious little boy, and now … their second sweet baby boy. 🥹

A little city charm, a little lakefront magic, and a whole lot of love. ❤️
I had the best time with Emily and Eric during their engagement session at Black Cat Alley and Atwater Park. From colorful murals to stunning shoreline views, these two brought the smiles, the laughs, and all the sweet moments in between.
We’re counting down the days until they say “I do” this fall!

I’ve had the opportunity this past winter to do some work for Little Switzerland — it’s been so fun to make photos for a business that is at the heart of where I live. If you’ve never been to Slinger, Wis., you are most definitely missing out. 😉❄️ If you’re a kid growing up in this area, chances are you ski or snowboard after school ~ active lifestyle, local business, family-friendly … what’s not to love. I photographed an in-home newborn session this past weekend, which is one of my favorite things to do! 🏡
There’s something really special about documenting life when your kids are tiny. You’re in a foggy, tired, haze and you’re likely in your first home. These are the moments and places you’ll want to remember forever. 🥰
Invite the photographer in. I don’t care if your house is picked up, if there’s laundry on the bed, or if your windows are clean. I don’t care if the dog is barking, or if Grandma is over, or if your other kids are running around at my feet. I understand all of it. Been there, still there … get the pictures anyway. You’ll never regret having these moments documented, I promise. ❤️

I was lucky enough to photograph these twin boys at my studio last week! 😍 (You know I have a soft spot for twin boys.) 😉 I photographed this couple’s gorgeous Green Lake wedding 10 years ago (I added a throw back wedding photo to the end of this post) … time is a thief. ❤️ I’ll never forget their beautiful, very warm ☀️ wedding reception on the water. Thank you for coming out to my studio, C+M! It’s such a blessing to see your growing family. I’m so happy for you!

I always knew the little girl in her belly would be just like her mama. ❤️
What a blessing it is to photograph these families from the beginning. It all started as the tiniest, perfect little baby. She’s now an energetic, sweet, beautiful kindergartner.
In a few more blinks, she’ll be a senior in high school. 😉
