🧡Hi! If we haven’t met, I’m Ren Lenhof & I’m the photographer for Mothers carrying the constant invisible load.

The moms remembering the snack bags, the shoe sizes, the doctor appointments, the birthday gifts, the sunscreen, the forms, the laundry sitting in the dryer for the third time… all while trying to hold onto the feeling of these years before they fly by.

That’s exactly why Studio 29 is full service.

Because the mothers who value their families most in life usually also have the least amount of extra mental space. And I never wanted family photos to feel like one more thing sitting on your plate waiting to get done.

So we help with the planning, the styling, the guidance, the album design, the wall art, the framing… all of it.

A couple days ago I caught myself saying things like “I’m so behind,” “I’m bad at sales,” “I’m terrible at consistency,” almost casually… like it was just commentary. Meanwhile I was running a successful business, raising a baby( no daycare), managing clients, leading mentorship calls, and somehow still making homemade dog food & caring for my bees 🐝

And I realized something kind of uncomfortable…Your brain is listening even when you think you’re joking.

The way you speak about yourself becomes the environment you work inside every single day.

I’ve seen photographers with incredible talent talk themselves out of opportunities before they even try. I’ve also seen people with half the experience build beautiful businesses because they decided to believe they were capable before the proof fully existed.

Talking positively to yourself is genuinely one of the biggest life hacks as an entrepreneur because business requires you to keep moving before you feel ready. Before the evidence piles up & way before everyone claps for you. 👏

You cannot build a calm, profitable, freedom-filled business while constantly speaking to yourself like you’re failing. Full stop.

And no… this doesn’t mean fake positivity or pretending hard things aren’t hard…it means maybe we stop introducing ourselves to our own brains as the problem all the time 🤍
