Things I love aside from family, friends and photography: life itself, dance, various art mediums and forms, the sunshine, a beautiful breeze, black coffee, tea, tulips, citrus fruits, shoes, travel, cultures, and last but not least live music. I often hear photographers say, “I always knew I wanted to be a photographer.” Well, for me, that wasn’t the case. When I got into photography almost 18 y
ears ago (before the digital world took over), it was purely to take better photos of my children and the desire to capture their every detail and the moments. My children inspired me then and are still my endless inspiration. The desire to capture the moments pushed and challenged me with my camera to document their journey. My passion to photograph people continues to grow daily. I do work in the insurance industry, but little did I know way back when that someday this would be another career for me. I had no idea that I would love it as much as I do. Over the years, I’ve done and still do a lot of self-study, photography classes and photographic workshops with independent photographers. I always want to improve and challenge myself with this art form. What I love about photography is that you never stop learning. I have creativity in my blood and I would love to share that with you. I specialize in natural light, on location casual portraiture photography of newborns, children, seniors, maternity, couples, families, and pets. I love to incorporate the outdoor surroundings as much as possible into my images. My goal is to expand into bo***ir, birth, and vacation documentary photography.
