Working on edits today! Got the good coffee, great playlist keeping me company, and now it’s time to knock out some of these beautiful albums!

I look back through these photos while I’m editing, and I can’t help but smile so big. So many sweet memories, laughs, happy tears, and special moments that I’ve gotten to be a little part of. It truly means more than y’all know that you chose ME to capture them. I don't take this lightly at all, and I do my absolute best to bring these beautiful memories to the forefront.

BIG things are happening at True Hope Photography! 📸🤍

I am SO excited to finally say that the studio is almost DONE! 🥹 I still have a few finishing touches to add, but everything is coming together beautifully.

Even more exciting… my very FIRST studio appointment is this Friday evening! 🎉 I cannot wait to officially start creating in this space and bring some of the ideas I’ve had in my head to life.

This has truly been a labor of love, and I’m so thankful for everyone who continues to support True Hope Photography. I cannot wait to welcome y’all into the studio! 🤍📸

❤️ A Few Important Booking Updates

With some new things coming to True Hope Photography, I’m also making a few changes to my booking and payment policies.

Going forward:

📸 A 50% non-refundable retainer will be required to book and secure your date.

💳 Remaining balances will be due by the date listed in your contract.

⏰ Late payments will have a $25 late fee added to the invoice.

📅 For cancellations within 30 days of your scheduled date, the initial 50% retainer remains non-refundable. Any additional payments made beyond the retainer will be refunded at 50%.

I completely understand that life happens, and I will always do my best to communicate and work with my clients when unexpected situations come up. At the same time, when I reserve a date for someone, I’m turning away other potential clients and putting time into planning and preparing long before the actual session or wedding.

These policies allow me to protect my time, my business, and my family while continuing to give every client the experience and attention they deserve.

I appreciate every single person who trusts me with their memories. ❤️

I’ve been keeping a little secret while I’ve been taking some time away...

True Hope Photography is officially adding STUDIO SESSIONS! 🥳📸

I have a small studio right here in my home in Minden, Louisiana, and I am SO excited about what this is going to allow me to offer!

Think:

✨ Family pictures

✨ Headshots & branding
✨ Milestones
✨ Couples
✨ Creative portraits
✨ And whatever else we can dream up!

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be bringing in several models to test different setups, backdrops, lighting, and ideas while I build my studio portfolio — so y’all are about to start seeing LOTS of new work from me!

I’m hoping this will also give me a little more balance. I absolutely still love weddings and traveling, but having a space at home means I can photograph more often without every session requiring me to pack up my entire life and hit the road. 😂

Every like, comment, share, follow, and recommendation helps me get this new chapter in front of more people. Y’all have helped True Hope grow so much already, and I’m incredibly thankful for it. ❤️

❤️ A Little Life Update

Hey everyone! I know I’ve been pretty quiet over here lately, so I wanted to check in and let y’all know I’m still here! 😂

After getting hurt last month, I decided I needed to take a small break. I’ve still photographed a few weddings, but I also needed some time to recover, reflect, and focus on life outside of photography.

I still work a regular full-time job in the HVAC industry, and if you’ve experienced this Louisiana heat lately, you can probably imagine how BUSY we’ve been. 😂 There have been a lot of long days, and honestly, keeping up with this page fell pretty far down my list.

But the time away has been good for me. It’s given me a chance to really think about what I want for True Hope Photography, where I want this business to go, and how I can make photography work better alongside my family and everyday life.

And I’m excited, because I think I’ve figured out part of that. ❤️📸

I’ve got something new coming, and I’ll tell y’all all about it in my next post!

I am SO excited!! After a year of trying to make it happen, I finally get to work a wedding with one of my favorite ladies ever!

I just love the sweet look on this precious girl's face! She was absolutely PRECIOUS to work with. Her momma and daddy were so sweet, and I loved working with them at a new location that I will return to! I love discovering new locations, but most of all I love meeting and working with wonderful people.

I'm so thankful God gave me this opportunity, and I'm looking forward to editing the rest of their album.
