Tyler’s favorite chiropractic family; Essential Living Chiropractic.

After texting back & forth about what to wear, I asked Nicole if I could come help. So I drove to her house, we went through her closets together and got a plan in place. Afterwards, we realized she only needed to purchase a few pieces.

I honestly loved it. I loved helping her, I loved spending time with her and the baby, I loved chatting about life in between putting colors together. I loved explaining why certain things complimented each other and I absolutely love connecting with this family 💛

I found them when I was pregnant with Isaac. They both have such a passion for family and helping women feel better during pregnancy. If you are pregnant or postpartum, I highly recommend giving them a visit!

I photographed most of my families this fall on our family land, in the heart of Mineola. When my husband and I first saw the land and we crested the hill behind these kiddos, into the back pasture, it was as if angels were singing. The sun was already in the western half of the sky, and the light was SO pretty, streaming through the springtime haze and vibrant grasses. It took a few more months, but we made the offer and the seller countered. We held fast to our number, and graciously thanked them & walked away. Five minutes later, our realtor called back; the seller accepted our original offer! I knew then, our land was a blessing from Yahweh. That was two years ago, and a lot has changed. Even my feelings about the place, have changed. It’s been an ebb and flow of dread and excitement. You see, we had to sell our beautiful lake home to finance the build and now, almost a year later, we can’t seem to gain traction. It’s something I think about daily. It’s something I get frustrated about daily. It’s something I have been impatient about, with my husband, nearly daily and sometimes it feels as if maybe the land is emotionally slipping from us. But I’ve had a mindset shift. And I’m trying to realize that sometimes inaction on our part, allows God to align things in his perfect and sometimes painfully slow way, and once I throw my hands in the air and surrender to Him, everything starts falling into place again
