Some of my favorite establishing shots from Saturday’s wedding — remembering how it felt doesn’t just mean reliving the excitement on your faces throughout the day, it’s remembering how the light filtered into your venue during dinner, and how the chandelier twinkled above before you walked down the aisle, it’s how much the colorful bouquets popped against the white walls and how your friends and family gathered in the space you spent so much time picking. Your wedding is a creative feast and navigating it is my favorite challenge 💅🏻🫶🏻

Madeline and Austin’s jam-packed wedding day in St. Paul, Minnesota, was a tour of all their favorite places in the beautiful city they call home. Our first stop? The Como Zoo Conservatory carousel, followed by a quick ice cream at Connie’s Creamy Cone, and to wrap up the pre-ceremony festivities, a shot at Gabe’s. I adore the documentary approach to wedding party photos for how it portrays genuine connection and emotion. I blogged (!!!) this wedding twice, so far, and you should check out both.
