Over the weekend, my husband lost one of his closest friends. It has been a shock, and his absence these past couple of days has rocked us. My heart aches for his family and friends.

It feels like we were just all together for their wedding day, celebrating, laughing, complaining about the amount of sweat we all had, but cherishing the joy and happiness that this marriage brought.

Brandon was a light for not only my husband, but for his family and friends. He was kind and caring, loved his cars and shoes, and most of all, loved his family fiercely.

Your barn. Your light. Your horse. Just you, your horse, and whatever your space has to offer - because trust me, it's enough.

I'm booking equine mini sessions this summer and I come to YOU.

📸 20 minutes | $250 per horse + person
👥 Minimum 3 participants per location
📍 Traveling to wherever your magic will happen

Window light, arena light, golden hour outside - no matter what it is, I'll work with what you've got. These sessions are about capturing the relationship, not the perfect setting.

Horse only or horse + human are both welcome.

This was one of the last snowfalls we had in Minnesota. When it arrived, I was in Florida and crossing my fingers the weather would work in our favor. We had some 40° days, which meant the snow we had was melting and FAST.

I texted Cassie that morning and said “I hope we’ll still have enough snow by tonight 😅”

After mini sessions with some of the other girls at Cassie’s barn, we saved her photos for last.

We gathered all of Cassie’s thirteen horses, put them in a pasture together, and let them create some magic.

At first, it seemed like everyone wanted to stay in their groups and not mingle, but at one point, they all joined up together, creating such a magical photo for Cassie to cherish of all of her horses.
