Two love bugs who migrated from Minnesota to Texas, once upon a time. I’ve known these two for over 10 years, and it has been a joy to watch their love grow every year.

We had so much fun frolicking around their neighborhood in Texas, and it was so good to catch up with them.

When I saw their wedding inquiry come through my email, I had the biggest smile on face. I knew immediately that we would be the perfect fit.

Brad and Makayla share a love for adventure. Camping and hiking is their favorite hobby to do together. One of their most recent trips was out West for a 3 week hiking trip, where Brad proposed at a secluded lake that overlooked the mountains in Montana….(seriously…perfect 🤌🏻.)

They had their wedding in Brainerd at the beautiful Northern Pacific Events, where they celebrated with all their favorite people.

Brad’s tears and Makayla’s smile stole our hearts that day. They are incredibly beautiful people (inside & out) and their love is radiant. It was a perfect day!

Danielle and Seth rented an Airbnb and spent the morning getting ready for their day with their closest people. They shared their vows privately, exchanged their rings surrounded by those who love them, shared a beer and donuts, and spent the night dancing away. It was a perfect and beautiful intimate day. 🤍

Last week, I was at happy hour with one of my clients and they mentioned how anxious they were to write their own vows. I sat and thought about how often people put a lot of pressure on themselves when writing their vows...⁠

You may think- Will I say the right thing? Will I say the wrong thing? How long do I need to talk for? What do I even say, where do I begin? Although I understand the nerves behind writing your vows, I'm here to tell you, writing your vows should be fairly-straight forward. Here are a few tips!⁠

👉🏻Speak directly to the person you're marrying!⁠
⁠
👉🏻Talk about your journey as a couple and the decision to get married
⁠
👉🏻Speak about the commitment you're making and what it means to you!⁠
⁠
👉🏻Talk about the future goals you have as a couple.⁠
⁠
👉🏻Tell your SO what they mean to you and don’t forget to say the words, "I love you!"⁠
⁠
Try not to overthink it. Don't get caught up in trying to include every detail. Speak from the heart, and you'll nail it and probably shed a tear or two along the way.😉
