It rained quite a bit on this day. And, actually, that ended up changing a lot of photography plans. Some prime locations were unusable due to excessive water and some really nice areas were completely rained out.

Given this image, you’d never guess this was the case

At the end of the wedding day, what stands is the fact that honorable, covenantal vows were made. Families are united. And two people become one to make their own, new family

Weddings are sacred

No matter how logistics play out, the things that matter are what truly endure

They care about their wedding details, because they know just how special and honorable their wedding day is.

Detail shots like these are my most favorite, ever!! These four frames, front to back tell a simple story.

I’ve always thought, “hmm it would be neat if I could decorate cakes.”

I’ve tried a few times.

Those attempts made me realize making a cake pretty is oh-not-so-easy.

How BLESSED I am to know Rosie!!!

She is the epitome of kindness, joy, and laughter. When I think of who I know who makes others feel loved and cared for, I think of Rosie 💗 I genuinely look up to her as a model for how to make someone feel appreciated, for who you are, right down to the core of your personality. Rosie shines at making others know they are loved!!!

Not only that, but these details provide such visual beauty that showcases the importance and honor given to a wedding.

There is something so very special about women gathered together. One could chalk it up to fun and friendship, but it is deeper than that.

When women bond and invest in one another, tight knit understanding and deep care is nurtured. There is an invitation to more, always more. When women are close and at peace, their community is comforted, knowing that all shall be well.

Women - and especially brides on their wedding day - set the tone in the room. When women are full of deep, pure beauty and care, that love overflows and touches everyone around them.

Women have the power to bring peace and tranquility, or unrest and chaos. What a gift it is when they choose the former.
