Had the opportunity to witness the majestic power of nature last night. KPI near 8 made for dancing and pulsing streams of light. The green and pink were just visable to the naked eye during the height of it all. Thanks again and Pleasent Valley Orchard!

It has been one of the busiest years of our lives. Thankfully the encouragement of those closest to me has helped me pause; seeking to capture the transition of organic life as it prepares to slumber. if you haven’t already gone outside, get out for a walk and absorb the most beautiful paintings that nature creates!

Lyon. One of my favorite places I’ve ever visited. So much history, so much to taste, so much to see. My 2nd time visiting was just as fun as the first time around. 🇫🇷

3.22.2023 we drove the couple hours south to check out Phillip island. It’s a magical place that almost feels like being in Ireland or Scotland along the coast. The penguin parade didn’t seem overly exciting so we wandered around the beach for sunset. The weird thing is here on the south side of the country, the sunsets seem to slowly fade into the sky and the sky behind the clouds relight with color. Its almost like having a 2nd sunset. It’s been fun to have different lighting conditions to play with! We start the 36 hour journey home today though we travel back in time 🤯

My mother instilled in me long ago, an appreciation for the miracle and simple gift that flowers offer everyone to enjoy. No matter where in life you find yourself, a flower maybe only a bush walk away. Thanks to the free conservatory in downtown Melbourne, it’s accessible and well maintained selection of flora brought a fresh scent and pop of color to our day!

Don’t mess with the birds.
Here are a few moments from last week in Melbourne when my mom friends from 40 years ago hosted us for afternoon tea outside of Melbourne. They had so many rainbow lorikeets in their backyard I was able to capture their many moods

Snaps from Zurich last fall while visting with . From a rooftop pool and Roman bathhouse to puzzles and tea during a rainy day, it was truly a relaxing place to be. I happened to get a nasty cold right as we arrived so I was thankful for the weather forcing us to retreat. Seeing a bird drink out of the public water fountains was hilarious and there was a march in old Zurich for more environmental responsibility. Although we took the wrong train one night and ended up not adventuring near the mountains like we planned, we still found ourselves enjoying every minute of it! The only downside was the cost. YIKES! $30 for a couple coffees and baked goods is not my pace 😬
