This day will forever be a cherished memory.

Bergen is one of my favorite cities in the world and getting to explore it with Anders and Cecilie on this visit took our trip to a whole different level; sharing new experiences with friends is what life is all about!

We felt every gorgeous emotion possible during this session, from quiet love beneath the foggy clouds rolling in from the mountains to pure joy and elation while laughing and dancing amongst the ferns and flowers.

Not only did I check “frolick in the fields around a castle” off my bucket list, but we had some sheep photobombers and it made my heart SO HAPPY. 🐑 ✨

I love how the pace of time ebbs and flows on a wedding day. It starts out soft and slow, appreciating special details and quiet moments getting ready, before growing to heart-filled joy and excitement as vows are exchanged and a couple shares their first kiss as married partners in life…and then we hit the thrill of a roller coaster ride when the dance floor opens in the evening! The energy spikes at the perfect time, as we dance the night away in celebration.

But sprinkled between these feelings are a multitude of teary-eyed, laughter-filled, adventure-seeking, and peaceful glimpses of their love and appreciation for their family and friends, all of which make a wedding day REAL.

Be sure to prioritize giving yourself time to enjoy ALL of those moments, because I can promise they’ll become some of your favorite memories from the day. ✨

Everything about Alana and Garrick’s cozy engagement session was like drinking the most delicious chai latte from an oversized mug - uplifting, heartwarming, and filled with the best autumn vibes around!

Their joy was infectious, with the sounds of their conversations and laughter mingling with the crisp breeze and calling birds flying overhead. We made the most of the unique fall backgrounds from softly lit open prairies filled with muted tones to vibrant, towering maple trees that exploded with color around us, and I don’t know if I have ever loved an October evening more than this one!

There’s a reason it’s called a meet CUTE.

Because, for Cecelia and Anders, it was the cutest of fairytale meetings. Two strangers laughing and dancing together at a joyful summer music festival along the fjord. The midnight sun casting a soft glow in the sky. And whispers of a beautiful beginning in the air.

A moment they never knew was caught on film…until her best friend shared the video with her now, two years later.
