My story!
I’ve loved photography for a looooong time, but honestly didn’t think about making a career out of it until my sophomore year of college. It was then that I switched my major to Media Communication! I graduated from college in 2013 and spent about 6 years building my portfolio by doing weddings and engagement sessions on the side of my full-time job. I knew right away that I wanted weddings to be my main focus, but I’m not much of a risk-taker and was nervous about taking it full-time!
Fast forward to 2017 - I married my best friend, Cody ❤️ He was in college at the time getting his nursing degree, and when he graduated in 2018 he immediately got a job at Children’s Minneapolis working as a nurse in the operating room. Only then did I feel comfortable venturing out into the photography world full-time!
