We’ve been taught that putting our thoughts and feelings into writing can be therapeutic. That ex you hate? You write them a letter filled with everything you wish you could say but more often than not, that letter never gets sent. Because part of the healing is in the release of the words themselves.
What if we could do that together right now? Outlets for grief and anger are needed now more than ever. So what if there was a place to release our words of anger and frustration and fear and betrayal by our country so that we can feel more empowered and more connected and more emboldened to take the next step towards action? By no means will it solve our problems or fight the battle that’s waiting for us. But, as Brené Brown said, a micro-dosing of hope, providing a sense of agency and community, a smallest next thing ... right now that may be all we’ve got.
So I gently share with you The Angry Woman: a place to let it all out ... collectively, safely, anonymously ... scream into the void, make it loud, make it ugly, make it honest.
Each letter of anger sent will join the others there so we can find validation and confirmation that what’s happening right now is bu****it, wrong, and scary.
Take your time and when you’re ready, The Angry Woman will be there for you.
