Check out this beautiful large 40" x 60" painting I photographed for Joseph Paquet titled Morning, Madeline Island. Accurate photography is critical for a painting like this with such subtle hues and values found under a northern forrest. Well done Joe!

The Challenging Nocturne
I absolutely love this painting, both for its beauty and the challenge of photographing it. Not only is it a very neutral nocturne, it’s also monochromatic and subtle. Check out the brushwork impasto in the closeup.

Hannah C. Heyer’s work is in a two-person show called Rooted in the Land. It’s with with Duluth artist Matt Kania (who I’ve also photographed paintings for) at the Lillian Davis Hogan Galleries, Saint Mary’s University Toner Student Center.
