Soooo I’ve decided to take a year off from photography. A year, give or take. Basically an extended maternity leave. It’s kind of breaking my heart to say that, but I absolutely know it will be what’s best for my sanity and my family this year. Between a newborn, homeschooling Ella (full-time this summer/fall), all things autism, and wanting to slow down to devote my time to my people, it’s what will be best for me in this season. And it’s good to acknowledge that, be grateful for it, and be able to step away for a little while. 🤍
I cannot thank my families enough for the last 6+ years of joy. I truly LOVE serving you, capturing memories for you, and being silly with and loving on your kiddos. And I know this is temporary!
I’m happy to recommend some other incredible local photographers if you need! I’ve included that list in the email I sent out to my current clients last weekend too.
It’s been a weird last couple of years, only being able to take on so many sessions, and having to turn down a lot. Right now, I’m really just feeling called into family life and a year to focus on my girls. Feel free to follow along on Instagram 💗✨
