Despite the torrential downpour on Saturday, many fans and even the drivers were determined to make the most of a bad situation. PROSPEC seeding bracket winner Jacob Duncan and his team took advantage of the lake that formed in the pits with some improvised water sports, including fuel drum riding and upside-down table skiing. 🤙

The inaugural Formula Drift Indianapolis event, dubbed "Midwest Mayhem," lived up to its name. Adam LZ had a front-row seat to the carnage, finding himself at the mercy of the controversial wall coming off Outside Zone 1 not once, but twice. Following an incident in practice with Matt Field, his Top 32 battle ended with both cars in the wall when Andy Hateley overcommitted on his lead run. The judges ruled Adam wasn't at fault, awarding him the win and a spot in the Top 16—which, as it turned out, never happened. 👀

But that's another story.
