⛸️🦋✨ Class of 2026 Spotlight: Hailough ✨🦋⛸️

One of my favorite things about senior sessions is exploring places that become part of a senior's story.

Downtown Milwaukee gave us the perfect mix of architecture, texture, and city charm as we wandered from one location to the next, creating the perfect session.

We celebrated this senior's incredible skating journey by incorporating her skates and medals. Those details represented so much more than a sport - they reflected years of early mornings, dedication, perseverance, and achievements that helped shape who she is today.

As we explored downtown together, every stop added another chapter to her story. The result was a gallery that celebrated not only her accomplishments as a skater, but also the confidence, grace, and excitement of her senior year.

Congratulations, Hailough! Wishing you all the best as you begin this exciting new chapter.

🦩 Class of 2027—your senior session doesn't have to fit a template. Whether it's your favorite city, a meaningful location, a passion you've dedicated years to, or something completely unexpected, let's create a session that's uniquely yours.

⚾️🍂 **Class of 2026 Spotlight: Aaron 🍂⚾️

The best senior sessions are about so much more than great photos—they're about the people who make this season of life unforgettable.

I've known Aaron's family since our oldest children started school together. Over the years, our families have shared many memories and I've had the privilege of photographing his older sister's (Jenna ♡) senior session before celebrating Aaron's senior year as well. Being invited to capture another chapter in their family's story is something I'll never take for granted.

We kept things simple with a baseball-inspired session surrounded by beautiful fall color, creating a gallery that reflected both his love of the game and this exciting season of life.

One of my favorite memories from Aaron's session was having his girlfriend along for part of the experience. Sometimes the best smiles don't come from the photographer behind the camera—they come from someone special standing nearby.

I've always appreciated how supportive this family has been—not only in trusting me with both of their children's senior portraits, but also in choosing to display those memories in their home. Seeing a large canvas from a session become part of a family's everyday life is one of the greatest compliments I can receive. Knowing these portraits will continue to be part of their family's story long after graduation means more than I can say.

Congratulations, Aaron! Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your senior year story. Wishing you nothing but success and happiness in the years ahead. See you in fall!

🦩 **Class of 2027** families, the best senior sessions celebrate more than a graduation. They celebrate the people, relationships, and moments that make your story uniquely yours.

💦🍂⚾️ Class of 2026 Spotlight: Hayden Spahn⚾️🍂💦

One of the greatest compliments I can receive is when a family comes back for another senior session.

A few years ago, I photographed Hayden's older brother, Charlie Spahn, and this year it was Hayden's turn to step in front of the camera.

For Hayden's portrait session, we embraced the beauty of fall. The waterfall and vibrant autumn colors created the perfect backdrop, and the season seemed to show off at just the right time, giving us some truly magical images that reflected his personality and this exciting chapter of his life.

Baseball was still an important part of Hayden's senior year, and while we didn't incorporate it into his portrait session, I had the opportunity to photograph him during the season. Those game-day images became another way to celebrate the dedication, teamwork, and memories that helped shape his high school experience.

While every senior session is unique, one thing I love is helping families find the best way to preserve these memories. Hayden's brother chose an album for his session, but that wasn't quite Hayden's style. Instead, we designed a custom framed series featuring two portraits from each brother's senior session—a piece of artwork created especially for their mom and dad to enjoy for years to come.

It's always an honor to document these milestones, but it's even more meaningful when those images become part of a family's story long after graduation.

Congratulations, Hayden! Wishing you all the best as you begin your next adventure.

🦩 Class of 2027 families, your senior story doesn't have to fit into one session. Whether it's portraits, game-day moments, or creating custom artwork for your home, let's celebrate this milestone in a way that's meaningful to your family.

🏈⚾️⛳️Class of 2026 Spotlight: Tanner ⛳️⚾️🏈

Some athletes are known for what they accomplish on the field. Others are remembered for how they handled adversity.

Tanner's senior year looked a little different than expected. After surgery prevented him from playing baseball during his final high school season, he continued working toward his goals and never lost sight of what was ahead.

As the star quarterback, he helped lead his team through football season, and it was especially fun to watch him step onto the defensive side of the ball late in the year.

Planning Tanner's senior session was especially meaningful because I had the privilege of photographing his cousin's senior portraits a few years earlier. Returning to the same beach wasn't about recreating the past, it was about celebrating Tanner's own journey. We also incorporated the football field and baseball diamond, creating a session that reflected the sports, memories, and milestones that shaped his high school years.

Although he couldn't suit up for his senior baseball season, Tanner found another way to enjoy his senior spring, on the golf course, with friends. It's a great reminder that while sports create incredible memories, it's often the friendships and experiences along the way that stay with us long after the final game.

Congratulations, Tanner! Wishing you continued success as you begin this exciting new chapter.

* Class of 2027 athletes, musicians, artists, and dreamers, your senior session should tell your story.

Summer and fall dates are beginning to fill and I'd love to help celebrate everything that's going to make your senior year unique.

One of my favorite parts of being a senior photographer is watching families grow through the years. A few years ago, I photographed Tony's brother's senior session, and this year it was Tony's turn. It was special to see another chapter of this family's story unfold.

Tony's session celebrated one of the things that has been a huge part of his high school years, baseball. From senior portraits on the field to capturing a little bit of the season itself, these images reflect the dedication, teamwork, and memories that come with the game.

And while Tony was definitely the star of the session, there was one furry family member who may have stolen a little attention and even earned a print of his own.

Congratulations, Tony, on your graduation and all you've accomplished. Wishing you the very best as you step into your next chapter.

Class of 2027 families, now is the perfect time to start thinking about senior portraits. The best sessions tell a story about who your senior is right now-- and that's exactly what we'll create together.

The Class of 2026 reminded me of something I see every single year .

No two seniors are the same.

Even when locations are similar.
Even when outfits are similar.
Even when friends choose the same images.

Each senior still stands out in their own way.

Some sessions were planned.
Some changed with the weather.
Some became even better than we imagined.

That's what I love about photography.

It's not about fitting ~ it's about standing out.

Class of 2027 ~ tell me what makes your story yours.
