This day really hit different. It’s a day I’ve been excited to experience since college. Carly and I were college friends and roommates; we would talk life, future, and dream about the “someday’s”. Back then, there wasn’t a partner in the picture so we’d just dream about the wedding day… what you’d wear, who your bridesmaids are, flower colors. When Casey entered Carly’s life, things felt different. Conversations shifted. It wasn’t so much about the wedding day but rather about the marriage, the life, and the dreaming about the future ♥️ I couldn’t imagine a better life partner for my best friend. This day meant more to me than any other wedding because I had witnessed firsthand Carly and Casey’s relationship develop, trust strengthen, comfort deepen, laughter broaden, and commitment solidify from volleyball partners to friends, dating into an engagement, now marriage. It was an honor to be a bridesmaid and stand alongside my friends on their special day, but I couldn’t help myself… I haaad to snag the camera here and there to capture moments that I already love so much but for my best friends (and wow does it hit x1000 stronger) 🥹 Also, a moment to COMMEND Phoebe for capturing this day SO beautifully… your eye, professionalism, energy… not a beat was missed and expectations were all exceeded 💕
This day was truly LIVED. Every moment felt wholly enjoyed, appreciated, and simply put, lived. So much love for the Machajewski’s 🥰🥂
