Hi, Iā€™m Emily! šŸ‘‹šŸ¼ I figured it was time to reintroduce myself because things are changing with Emily Marie Photography...Iā€™m going to Spain! šŸ‡ŖšŸ‡øšŸ’ƒšŸ» If youā€™ve been on my website lately, you would know I am studying abroad this spring. After and before āœØ

Sydney Green and Jaden really loved the idea of a fall engagement shoot, so we took their portraits during October. Even late into the season, sometimes you need some extra post-production love to create that beautiful warm glow in pictures. These photos were tricky to edit, but SO worth it for the end result! šŸ˜

Shortly following my shoot with Sam, Alexandra also joined me in Madison for senior portraits! Alexandra liked the idea of interesting stonework and neat architecture, so we shot around some lecture halls on campus and Bascom Hill. I walk past these buildings everyday, so it was interesting to view UW more artistically!

In August, I did a senior portrait session with Sam in downtown Madison! Sam is the brother of one of my best friends, Elsa Deibert, so Iā€™ve known him for quite some time. Back in 2018, when I was just starting my photography business, Sam helped me expand my portfolio by modeling for fake senior pictures (he was just a sophomore at the time!). It made me so happy to shoot Samā€™s actual senior pictures!

We also took football pictures for Ethanā€”I always love these shots but Ethanā€™s were extra special. Ethan wears the initials JR on his helmet to honor his father, Jeff Reynolds. There is no doubt Jeff was watching down on Ethan and cheering for his team all season, as Pewaukee High School went on to win the state football championship for the first time in school history! šŸ¤šŸˆ SO happy we were able to celebrate Jeff through these photos.
