What an incredible day at the 2026 Breakthrough T1D Twin Cities event!

This year’s event brought together 2,248 participants from 287 teams and raised an amazing $724,728 to support Breakthrough T1D. It was an honor for Extra Mile Images & Events LLC to capture the energy, emotion, and community spirit throughout the day.

We spent a fun day shooting the JDRF One Walk on Saturday, where over 5,000 walkers raised close to $1,000,000 to fight Juvenile Diabetes. The sun was shining and we were surrounded by positivity and an amazing atmosphere.

In total we photographed 88 teams, 1,041 individuals, 2 Vikings cheerleaders, 1 famous ex Viking, 2 stars and a banana!

Fun and worthwhile times

We were blessed with a beautiful day for volunteering at the JDRF One Walk event at TCO stadium in Eagan today. Thousands of walkers raised over $800,000 and counting in an effort to find a cure for Juvenile Type 1 diabetes, and we were honored to provide them with team pictures next to "Tiny", the MN Viking.
