This was taken 2009/2010, basically my senior y at in high school. I hav a deep love and appreciation for monochrome film photography and wanted to challenge myself with creating a black and white photo that didn’t need explanation; something that had the ability to evoke emotion.

To this date, 8 or 9 years old, this photo is still one of my favorites. Something as simple as Vaseline, graphite shavings and the “shiney” side of poster board was all I needed to achieve that.
