It’s hard to believe that just over a month ago, we were in Hawaii. 🌺 I fell in love with the beaches, the sunsets, the scenery, the sea turtles, the seals, the people — all of it (even the crazy chickens!)!
And now, seeing the images coming out of Kauaʻi after Hurricane Lowell is absolutely heartbreaking.
Places we walked. Beaches we sat on. Pools we swam in. Roads we drove. Views I photographed because I couldn’t believe how beautiful they were.
Seeing them damaged or completely changed so soon after we were there makes these photos feel different now.
So today I’m sharing a few of my favorites — not just as vacation photos, but as a little love letter to a place that gave our family a vacation we will never forget. 🤍
Thinking of everyone on Kauaʻi who is cleaning up, rebuilding and trying to figure out what comes next.
We will always have a very special place in our hearts for Poʻipū. 🌺🌊
