Back in Minot and honestly? It feels really good to be here again šŸ¤

I taught here for 7 years before military life took us somewhere else, and now weā€™re coming back in such a different season of life. More kids, more chaos, more experience, and a whole business built around motherhood and storytelling.

Alsoā€¦ can we talk about the GRASS? šŸ˜‚šŸŒæ I forgot how much I love all the green here. It feels so grounding after the last few years.

Still documenting all the same things Iā€™ve always loved most: growing families, motherhood, connection, and the beautifully in-between moments that end up meaning everything later.

Thereā€™s something so special about watching your oldest become a sibling. šŸ¤

Itā€™s bittersweet in the best way. One day theyā€™re your baby, and the next theyā€™re stepping into a brand new role, whether theyā€™re ready or not. The transition from one to two can feel big for everyone, but somehow, before long, you canā€™t imagine life any other way.

These sibling introductions during Fresh 48 and birth sessions always get me. The curiosity, the excitement, the shy little glances, the ā€œcan I hold the baby?ā€ moments... all of it. šŸ„¹

Iā€™m so thankful Iā€™ve gotten to document so many of these stories over the years, and I already have a few more Minot birth and Fresh 48 sessions coming up soon. EEK! Iā€™m so excited for this next season!

Iā€™ll never take for granted being invited into so many homes over the last few years. I get to know my clients on a deeper level and I really cherish each session. Maybe itā€™s a little bit of exhaustion after being on the move all week, but Iā€™m emotional typing this! šŸ˜…
