Sometimes you put yourself or your gear in some risk to get "The shot." This was shot last night just before getting soaked by the rapidly rising tide and a big wave. Good news was that I was able to pull the camera, lens and attached tripod out of the water just as the shutter closed to prevent it from getting soaked. I wasn't so lucky and neither was my camera bag.
