I was born and raised in Southern California, but Hawaiʻi has always been home in a big way. Both of my parents were born and raised on Oʻahu, they gave all of us Hawaiian middle names, and some of my favorite childhood memories were summers on the North Shore. These days, I feel lucky that my work takes me between Southern California and Hawaiʻi so often.

I’ve spent years documenting weddings, families, newborns, events, and all of life’s biggest moments, and one thing has stayed the same through all of it: I care deeply about people and connection. Beautiful photos matter, of course, but what I really love are the in-between moments. The happy tears, the belly laughs, the hugs from grandparents, the tiny baby stretches, and the moments you don’t realize are important until years later.

Lately, life looks a little different too. I’m also a mom to two little ones and motherhood has changed so much about the way I photograph and the way I see the world. If you’re here, thank you for following along 🤍🌺
