We traveled back to our home state for a month for the holidays. While it was so good to see family, friends, & to take a mental break from work, I’m a liiiiiiitle behind. Starting the New Year off right 🥴

Was asked to photograph The Hampton fam and had some of the best times! Booked another session this week and I’m starting to feel like God is slowly putting things into place. 🥺
If you’re reading this, PLEASE don’t give up on your dreams. I never would’ve imagined that being a photographer in Montana was a dream, but here I am. Having the best time and connecting with so many new people. 🫶🏼 🏔️

Thought it was time to put a face with the brand! My name’s Carrie! I’m a stay-at-home mom who picked up a camera a few years ago & fell in looooove! My passion has always been wildlife, but I’ve been capturing those fleeting little moments of my son’s life since he was born. It’s been on my heart to start capturing those moments for others. I know when I see an image of my child just living in the moment it brings me SO MUCH joy and I want to start bringing that joy to others. But I always love to challenge myself, so I’m up for shooting pretty much everything outside of family photography!

To those who have never been able to find it in their budget to capture the beautiful little moments of their life: I see you. I’ve been there & I can’t tell you how many times someone’s told me, “I wish I could afford that.” And it breaks my heart a little knowing someone won’t have those special moments to look back on.

That’s why I decided to offer a special Pay What You Can session this weekend! Friday July 28th & Saturday July 29th at 6pm at Blue Mountain. I’m offering the 6pm time slot for those with younger children, but if you want that golden hour or even blue hour lighting I will be there well after sunrise. However, if you’re a family that works on the weekends or nights and your schedule doesn’t work with these days or times let me know and we can work something out!

Pulling out some favorites from last year to officially announce that I’m claiming myself as a family / travel photographer and am BOOKING SESSIONS! 🥳

I know I’ve been a little MIA lately. Because I’ve just been feeling super unmotivated and uninspired about nature photography. God’s been pulling at my heart to start using my talents for documenting authentic and wholesome family memories. So here we are. Nature photography will always have a special place in my heart, so there will definitely still be a place for it in my life. Just not as much as I’d like.

We are currently traveling for the rest of the Summer, so I am not home in Tennessee; but if you’re in the Montana area message me! 🫶🏼

Also you might’ve noticed a name change. The old one just wasn’t resonating with me. 😅
