The Art of the Pose. There’s a common myth that posed means still. But to us, the pose is simply a starting off point to help curate interaction. The emotion you express to it is the real art.

We at loooove a guided moment. Not in a “stand there like you’re taking DMV photos” kind of way… but in a way that creating a space for the couple to be their cute little weirdo selves can be so beautiful. We don’t pose you and click; we guide you into a space where you can breathe and then we wait for the spark. It’s the split second after the pose, the genuine laugh, the quiet exhale, that makes our creative little hearts sing!

Because here’s the thing: most couples are not professional models. Shocking, I know. So no, I’m not going to throw you into a field and hiss “just be candid” while you both panic and touch foreheads for 45 straight minutes.

Forget the labels of posed vs. candid. Or documentary vs. editorial. What truly matters is that you feel seen! The goal here is to never make you perform, and instead give you room to truly connect with each other. It’s how we guide you into your own unique rhythm, capturing the quiet, romantic energy that exists only between the two of you! The photos are art that is only going to resonate with you two lovely souls!

What other job lets you third wheel across the planet for a living???

One minute I’m helping a couple decide where to say their vows in Ireland, the next I’m scouting mountain views, finding hidden beaches, googling “best pasta within emotional support distance,” and building timelines around sunsets like my life depends on it.

And the craziest part?
Most of my couples have NEVER been to the country we’re going to together.

So not only are they getting married… they’re experiencing a brand new place for the very first time WITH their favorite person.

Like excuse me while I cry in the rental car for a second because that is deeply magical and weirdly beautiful. 🥹

I get to witness the nerves, the laughter, the chaos, the missed turns, the rainstorms, the “WAIT LOOK AT THAT VIEW,” the post-ceremony happy dance, and the absolute feral joy of two people realizing:
“Wait… we can do our wedding THIS way??”

It’s really no surprise why I’m so passionate about my work! I feel like I’m really making a difference in the most important day of their life! And that’s really why I do it!

I lost my dad when I was 19. It’s been a long time and I’ve noticed that my memories of him have faded over time.

My mom shared with me a photo of he and I fishing. I’m probably 8 years old. I can remember exactly how the woods smelled, the feel of that slimy fish in my hand, and how happy I was that I was there with my dad. I look at that photo and it takes me right back to that place.

That’s what I want for your memories. I want you to see these photos on the wall and get immediately transported back. I want you to remember exactly what you were feeling, the sound of the wind, how your partner makes you feel so loved! All the things!

There might be some bittersweet moments in there too, and we’re there to capture them all and preserve them for decades to come.

20 years later… and they walked down the aisle all over again. 🥹🤍

Except this time, they carried two decades of history with them.

The hard seasons.
The growing pains.
The inside jokes.
The late night conversations.
The kids.
The changes.
The choosing each other again and again and again.

And honestly?
Watching them look at each other after 20 years still felt like watching newlyweds.

Just with better stories and slightly more back pain. 😂

Some of my faaaaavorite things about Amsterdam:

-the stroopwafel
-it’s an LGBTQ+ friendly place!
-the Indian food at altered my brain chemistry
-Amsterdam is the only place where I almost got taken out by a bicycle every 14 minutes and still thought, “wow… I could ride a bike here.”
-photographer in me obsessed over the canals!
-how the cafes weren’t cafes IYKYK 😂
-every building in Amsterdam looks like it has a trust fund
-Amsterdam residents must grow up learning how to ride a bike and hold their espresso at the same time
-I wish to express my support for Amsterdam’s commitment to making literally every corner offensively photogenic
