Dee turned 6 months. I honestly don’t know where the time went. He loves to smile, laugh at mommy and daddy’s funny faces, cluck and chew his bottom lip. He is such a great baby.

A little Abby+Adan engagement at Bellingrath Gardens. They trucked right along with me through dead ends and rose gardens. We probably walked a good 5 miles 🤣. I always love doing an engagement session prior to someone’s wedding because it gives me the chance to get to know my couple and feel their personalities out. Now it’s time to get yal hitched and have a good ole time at the wedding!

Hi yall!

Just a little PSA going forward.

To better serve my clients and protect the integrity of my business, I will no longer reserve wedding dates unless both the signed contract and retainer payment have been received.

I always try to be understanding and flexible, but I’m unable to continue holding dates without completed booking requirements. When dates are reserved without both steps being finalized, I often have to turn away other couples who are fully prepared to secure their date immediately.

If your retainer has not been paid, your date will be removed from my calendar today. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but as a business owner and provider for my household, I have to maintain clear policies and consistent standards moving forward.

Nothing prepares you for being a first time mom.

This is such a vulnerable time and I always had a thought of “what if” I don’t have that connection to him when he gets here and it scared me. You’re not sure how to feel while you’re pregnant, but the moment you have that baby put on your chest everything changes. It’s the most amazing thing to love something and be scared of them all at the same time. All these thoughts are running through your brain of “how am I fixing to keep this baby alive? They’re so little, what if I break him?” But guess what, these babies aren’t as breakable as we think and we aren’t as bad of parents as we thought we’d be.

My first Mother’s Day had me reflecting on the past 5 months since he’s been in the world and I’ll never understand how I lived without him. This boy is my whole world and more.
