When I thought about making the Christmas Minis in the studio, I was thinking about the classic Christmas celebration, with our evening clothes and that elegance that the December wearer brings.
I have been more than satisfied with all the sessions I took, seeing what each family conveyed in each photo is wonderful.
This family in particular left me some beautiful shots, a lot of love, a lot of unity and a lot of elegance!

Snick Peek of Christmas studio session!

Hi! I am Zulma

Nice to meet you. I am a photographer in Mobile Alabama area who love to capture treasured moments in people’s lives, which are beautiful gifts from God.

My style is very simple. I am creative using a combination of natural light, artistic perspective, and enhancement of colors by focusing on the face and using close-up to create memorable images.

From newborns to weddings, I love the fact that my photos touch people in such a positive way. It’s very fulfilling and it makes my spirit shine every time my customers are happy with the result of their photoshoot. I believe that a great portrait has the power to take your breath away, make you laugh with delight, or move you to tears.

I study Marketing and Advertising in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. During this time I had my first contact with photography when I took the required Camera I and II courses.

I moved to Mobile, Alabama in 2003 to get a degree in International Marketing but my life took a different direction when I was married and I became a full time mom (which I loved) Since moving here as an immigrant, I have worked in many jobs doing what does not always appeal to me, but always giving my best and learning from each opportunity.

Unfortunately, my marriage ended, and I was working in touch conditions as single mother to support myself and my daughter. However, God brought a wonderful man into my life and blessed me with a incredible husband.

My husband realized I didn’t have a hobby. He urged me to find time for my artistic passion, so I decided to buy my first DLS Nikon camera and started studying photography at the University of South Alabama. At first, I just wanted to explore this beautiful area with my family and take pictures of nature, but eventually, my friends persuaded me to take my photography hobby to another level!

Since then, I’ve been working part time in the photography business, and now I am dreaming to build a home photography studio here in Mobile, Alabama to make my passion my full time, future business.

I am so grateful to God for everything I have. I love my life here in the south with my husband, my daughter and my two puppies.
