When I book with a service provider, I don’t just look at their work. I love getting a feel for who they are as people too. Their personality, what they value, how they treat others, and the kind of environment they’ve created.

These two have both. 💗

I’ve found my home salon, and I can’t explain the peace you feel the moment you walk in. Whether you’re in Lex’s chair or Abbie’s, you’re cared for so well, and that atmosphere is something special. Not to mention, THE TALENT. My goodness, are they skilled!! 😍

If you’ve been needing a little self care, treat yourself to a blowout and go meet my girls. I have a feeling you’ll love them just as much as I do.

Taylor had one request when she booked with me…

“Please don’t put us in a hayfield.” 😂

Challenge accepted.

Their first date was at Rock ’N Roll Sushi, so I told them to stop by there on the way, wandered downtown, chased the skyline, and built their entire session around their story instead of mine.

That’s my favorite kind of session, the ones that actually look and feel like the couple.

One thing I love about people is that we all have different preferences.

Some people love the beach. Some love the mountains. Some like tattoos. Some don’t. Some want a big wedding. Some would rather elope. Some love bright colors. Others love neutrals. Some folk’s like cowboy boots and other’s rock Jordans haha

The same goes for photographers, restaurants, music, clothes, personalities, ya know, everything. Which, I think that’s a pretty cool thing because it means there’s room for everyone. You don’t have to be everyone’s cup of tea to be exactly what someone else has been looking for.

Instead of trying to fit everyone’s preferences, just be authentically you and be thankful for the people who choose you. You’ll find YOUR people baby, I PROMISE.

Life gets a whole lot lighter when you stop trying to appeal to everyone and simply appreciate that we’re all different, with different tastes, and that’s what makes people so interesting. Be you. Let your vibe attract your tribe ✨ You don’t have to keep up with the Joneses.

That’s one of my favorite things about humanity for real. 🤙🏻

This is exactly why you should always download the original files from your gallery instead of taking screenshots like I did of the gallery grid. Screenshots can reduce image quality, soften sharpness, and even shift the colors. So if you’re comparing the grid screenshots to the actual couple, just know those screenshots aren’t a true representation of the final edited images. 🥰)

I have a client look for a “bushy” field she said with a wooden fence for a couples session at the end of July. Somewhere with this kind of country vibe where we could shoot for about an hour.

Hey y’all! 💗

I can’t stress this enough, so please take just a second to read this.

Once I send your gallery, please download every image you want to keep as soon as possible. Save them to your phone, Dropbox, Google Photos, an external hard drive, wherever you know they’ll be safe. Even better, print them!

Your online gallery is meant for delivery and downloading. It is not a forever storage space.

A photographer friend of mine in Florida recently had her entire gallery platform crash, and it wiped out years of client galleries. While that’s thankfully rare, it’s a good reminder that technology isn’t perfect.

I never want anyone to lose their memories because they assumed the gallery would always be there. Once you receive your gallery, please take a few minutes to download your images and back them up somewhere safe. Those photos are far too special to risk losing.
