A surprise to nobody, but I bought a new lens. A Nikkor-P 105mm f2.5, a version of this lens was used to take the world famous photo of The Afghan Girl by Steve McCurry in 1985, for nation geographic. The copy I have is a bit of an older version but I can’t wait to use it for some portraits. If you’re in the area reach out so we can set something up.

It’s been a while since I focused on photography, so I took the boy and the S1 out to see the Mardi Gras Pet Parade this weekend. You couldn’t have ask for better weather, and I decided to challenge myself a bit by only using one lens. A vintage 35-70mm f4 canon fd mount lens, which is all manual focus. The combo did great I was surprised how much I got in focus while keeping track of the boy and shooting on the fly.

Happy New Year Everyone! Thank you to everyone who came out to the premier of my first documentary, and everyone who viewed it on Youtube. Also, a huge thanks to Dylan Jung for coming out and taking photos at the event. Dylan is an inspiration and one of the main reason I got into video in the first place. Thank you, man. I can't wait to see what projects we can get into in the future.

You heard that right, the documentary is finished and we have a day set for the premier! We decided its only appropriate to cap off this year by having the release on December 31 and showing it at . On Bag at a Time will also be releasing the same day on Youtube. Stay tuned for more details.
