I knew when I booked my trip to Tennessee for black bears that I would miss the best time to see the ospreys diving for fish, here in Maine. When I came back, I went to check if there was still any action going on. During the two hours I spent there, I only saw a few ospreys circling and just one diving, twice. The first time it missed, but the second time it caught a fish.

The Blackburnian Warbler
The Warblers have arrived. I have spent few mornings this week trying to get as many pictures as I can of warblers, before the growing leaves will make it too difficult to see them. Haven't found a whole lot of them but I did found one of my favorite, the Blackburnian warbler
