Every great idea starts with a problem worth solving.

For InflateAlite founder and inventor Josh Bryan, that problem came from years behind the camera as a commercial automotive photographer.

Creating beautiful, controlled overhead light for vehicles often meant dealing with oversized frames, complicated rigging, heavy equipment, and time-consuming setups. Josh knew there had to be a better way.

That challenge became the foundation for InflateAlite: a lighting system that could deliver the scale and performance of traditional professional equipment while being lightweight, portable, and remarkably simple to deploy.

What began as a solution for automotive photography has since evolved into a versatile lighting system for photographers, filmmakers, studios, and production teams across industries.

In this clip from the Hard Parking w Jhae Pfenning, Josh shares the story behind the idea that started it all.

A big thank you to the Hardparking team for having Josh on and giving us the opportunity to share a little more about the story behind InflateAlite. Watch the whole episode, link in our bio.

Great presentations deserve great light. 💡

For Formawerx’s product presentation at The Warehouse, two InflateAlite 12’ × 12’ inflatable butterfly frames were sandwiched together, with light panels added to create a dedicated soft-light environment focused on the presentation area.

The magic is in the diffusion. Instead of harsh, direct light creating hard shadows and uneven highlights, the large diffusion surfaces transform the light into a softer, more controlled source. The result is beautifully balanced illumination that brings out product details, creates smoother transitions between highlights and shadows, and gives the presentation a polished, studio-quality look—even in an industrial warehouse setting.

By combining two frames into one lighting solution, the team created a focused visual environment that draws attention exactly where it belongs: on the product.

This is the versatility of InflateAlite. Professional-quality light control, a clean and adaptable setup, and the freedom to transform unconventional spaces into presentation-ready environments.

Big diffusion. Beautiful light. Better product presentations.

Sometimes the space dictates the solution.

For the recent FORMAWERX Design Seminar at The Warehouse, ceiling height presented a unique lighting challenge. Instead of compromising the environment, we adapted the system to fit it.

Two 12' x 12' InflateAlite Butterfly Frames were stacked together and paired with light panels to create a large, soft source that worked within the available ceiling height while providing clean, consistent illumination across the event space, vehicles, speakers, and guests.

That's the flexibility behind InflateAlite.

Rig them overhead. Mount them vertically. Stack them. Add the lighting package that makes sense for the job. The system is designed to work around the production, the venue, and the creative—not the other way around.

Different space. Different configuration. Same goal: better light with less complexity.

Behind the scenes of our recent 12' x 24' InflateAlite Overhead Light Bank installation at PA Euros new facility.

For this project, our team didn't simply provide the inflatable system. We worked with PA Euros to deliver the complete setup—from the 12' x 24' light bank and lighting package to installation, positioning, rigging, and final setup.

Whether you're building a new studio, upgrading an existing photo bay, or looking to create a more repeatable in-house content workflow, InflateAlite can help take the project from equipment selection through final installation.

The system. The lighting. The install. One complete solution.
