✨ Hi, I’m Jess ✨
There are quite a few new faces around here, so I thought it might be time to reintroduce myself 🩶
I’m Jess — a photographer, mom, Navy veteran, mountain lover, and the face behind Jess Bidwell Photography.
Photography has been part of my life for more than 20 years. I studied portrait and commercial photography before joining the Navy, where I spent 15 years documenting people, places, and stories around the world. When I left military service, I knew one thing for certain: I wasn’t done telling stories.
Today, you’ll usually find me chasing golden light somewhere in the mountains of Colorado, photographing families, seniors, couples, weddings, and elopements in places like Ouray, Telluride, Crested Butte, Aspen, and beyond.
A few things about me:
🩶 I’m a proud mom to my daughter, Olive.
🐾 I share life with a German Shepherd who keeps me company on many of my adventures.
🏔️ If given the choice, I’ll always choose a dirt road, mountain view, waterfall, or alpine lake.
📸 My favorite images aren’t the perfectly posed ones—they’re the real moments in between.
⚓️ I spent 15 years serving in the United States Navy before building this business from the ground up.
What I love most about photography is that it allows us to hold onto the seasons that matter most. The big milestones, the quiet moments, and the people who make life feel like home.
