A morning spent by the water in Skaneateles with Abbey & Thomas ⚓️ Abbey grew up in one of our favorite lake towns, Skaneateles, while Thomas grew up in our other favorite lake town, Cazenovia. Now they are building a life together in the Big Apple and sneaking upstate whenever they can in the summer for a dip in the lake! Next summer, they’re inviting all their favorite people to Skaneateles for their wedding weekend and everyone is about to fall in love with a place that will always be home to them 🤍 We cannot wait!! Sara & Anthony met in middle school and have grown together so much over their 10 years being each other’s best friend
Tonight we kicked off a little mid week upstate ny
getaway for these two with engagement photos at The Brewster Inn as the sun set over the lake. And now we daydream about their wedding next year at The Farm at Cottrell Lake!! It’s always so special to get to know our couples during engagement photos and keeping in touch throughout planning, it makes it natural to be at their wedding, genuinely supporting their marriage & excited for their day!

There’s nothing like a wedding where you have known the bride for almost your whole life. Katelyn is my childhood friend, Meghan’s older sister and she was there for all of Meghan’s fun birthday parties planned by their mom Jane. So many sleepovers and giggles in their living room and yesterday we added some more memories together as Katelyn married her best friend Chris. 🫶

If you know Katelyn & Chris, this day has been a long time coming and everyone else (even a high school teacher) predicted it long before they saw each other as anything more than friends. They built their relationship on over a decade long friendship where they showed each other unwavering support. It wasn’t until MaryCate & Zach’s wedding (that we happened to be the photographers for!) that something clicked on the dance floor and they’ve been a couple ever since. 🤍 swipe all the way to the end to see the photos from the dance floor that night it all changed 🤭

Their wedding day started at Heart Lake with their family surrounding them, including special touches to honor Katelyn’s mom Jane and even their 2 poodles got to be a part of the morning. They got married in the same church that Katelyn’s parents did in Montrose and then invited everyone to Chris’ parents beautiful property for a backyard reception! The dance floor was torn up again last night, but this time as husband & wife!

Maggie & Adam met at Maggie’s family summer camp in the Adk’s where now they have a cabin together, are each growing their own businesses and enjoy their lab Riley 🤍

This weekend was a lovely celebration for the new Mr & Mrs Levi, they started their day getting ready with their parents and then enjoyed a few minutes together with Riley before heading to the church. Then it was a party all night long!! The best dance floor with their friends & family!!
