Took a small pause from still imagery and have been dabbling in video lately. While my current camera is not really geared towards video, it sure beats what was available in 1990 when I was a Junior in high school. My father captured this raw footage of me high jumping and long jumping on VHS (that I later had digitized) and today cobbled a few snippets together. It was fun going down memory lane and feels like not that long ago. While I am mostly capturing others, this is a little glimpse in to the guy behind Smithbuilt Photography and where my love of sport comes from.
