First Summer adventure was traveling to Morgantown, West Virginia. Marion Post Wolcott covered “A rainy Saturday afternoon, courthouse square, Morgantown, West Virginia” Date in records is 01-01-1938. Though I doubt it was January in these photos. I took several photos of the courthouse square and even asked two men if they would “stand in” for a recreation photo. They were very kind and humored me.

Went on a fun trip to Buffalo and Niagara Falls, NY. The most basic FSA photo is one of the Falls. The park is currently undergoing a big renovation so getting the same angles wasn’t possible but it should be fun when it is finished.
The FSA image was from September 1940 by Royden Dixon and was simply captioned “Niagara Falls, New York.” My 2026 views would just have an asterisk “*American Falls under construction” added.
